Is my information secure?
Keeping your money and information secure is a top priority for Ukrainian Selfreliance Federal Credit Union. When you use Zelle® within our mobile app or online banking, your information is protected with the same technology we use to keep your Ukrainian Selfreliance Federal Credit Union account safe.
Who can I send money to with ZelleĀ®?
Zelle® is a great way to send money to family, friends, and people you are familiar with such as your personal trainer, babysitter or neighbor.*
Since money is sent directly from your Ukrainian Selfreliance Federal Credit Union account to another personās bank account within minutes*, Zelle® should only be used to send money to friends, family and others you trust.
If you donāt know the person or arenāt sure you will get what you paid for (for example, items bought from an online bidding or sales site), you should not use ZelleĀ®. These transactions are potentially high risk (just like sending cash to a person you donāt know is high risk).
Can I pay a small business with ZelleĀ®?
Some small businesses are able to receive payments with ZelleĀ®. Ask your favorite small business if they accept payments with ZelleĀ®. If they do, you can pay them directly from the UKRFCU App or online banking using just their email address or U.S. mobile number.
Does Ukrainian Selfreliance Federal Credit Union or ZelleĀ® offer purchase protection?
Neither Ukrainian Selfreliance Federal Credit Union nor ZelleĀ® offers purchase protection for payments made with ZelleĀ® ā for example, if you do not receive the item you paid for, or the item is not as described or as you expected. Only send money to people and small businesses you trust and always ensure youāve used the correct email address or U.S. mobile number when sending money

You can only cancel a payment if the person you sent money to hasnāt yet enrolled with ZelleĀ®. If you do not see this option available, please contact us at 215-725-4430 for assistance with canceling the pending payment.

Iāve heard thereās a change to the ZelleĀ® app. What is happening?
More than 2,200 banks and credit unions across the U.S. now offer Zelle® through their mobile app or online banking site. As a result of this growth, in October of 2024, we announced that we are removing the ability for users to send or receive money using the Zelle® app starting April 1, 2025.
If you use the standalone Zelle® app, you should have received messaging about this change through various emails and in-app notifications. To continue using Zelle®, all standalone app users must enroll through one of the more than 2,200 banks and credit unions that offer Zelle® through their mobile app.
If you are a standalone Zelle® app user and previously received money from someone through ZelleĀ®, you may need to let them know that you wonāt be able to receive payments until you enroll with a bank or credit union that offers ZelleĀ®.
To see if your bank or credit union offers ZelleĀ®, please visitĀ https://enroll.zellepay.com.
If youāre already using Zelle® within your mobile banking app, then there are no changes, and you do not need to take any action.
For more information, please visit ourĀ announcement from October.
