Kids and their families are invited to enjoy an afternoon of color, creativity, and hands-on fun at Kids & Family Day: A Living Canvas at The Ukrainian Museum. Inspired by the Museum’s new exhibition, A Living Canvas, celebrating the Museum’s 50th Anniversary, families can explore the exhibit through an interactive scavenger hunt before creating their own works of art at craft stations featuring painting, sculpture, collage, and more. Best suited for children ages 4–11, but open to all ages, this drop-in event takes place from 1 to 4 p.m. Admission is $5 per family member. Register today to reserve your spot. Join the celebration of the 35th Anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence at the Ukrainian Independence Folk Festival 2026. Enjoy a full day of Ukrainian music, song, and dance performances in the Festival Grove, along with delicious Ukrainian ethnic foods, homemade baked goods, BBQ picnic favorites, beverages, and refreshments. Browse the Arts and Crafts Market and Vendors’ Grove featuring unique items and local vendors. Tickets will be available for purchase at the gate only.
