Important Member Update: Account Changes Now in Effect Following the SRFFCU Merger

Member Update: Important Account Information
As part of the operational merger of Self Reliance New York FCU and UKRFCU into Self Reliance Financial Federal Credit Union (SRFFCU), several account-related updates took effect on July 1, 2026. The information below outlines changes to account numbers, account names, routing numbers, and wire transfer instructions, as well as any actions you may need to take.

For SRNYFCU Members
As of July 1, 2026, account numbers have transitioned to a new format.

What’s Changed:
• All account numbers are now standardized to a 6-digit format.
• A leading “4” has been added to existing account numbers.
• Leading zeros have been applied where necessary to ensure the 6-digit format is maintained.

For example:

For SRNYFCU Members
No immediate action is required. However, you should begin using your new account number when updating direct deposits, automatic payments, and other account-related transactions.

For UKRFCU Members
Your account number remains unchanged.

What This Means for You:
• No changes to your account number
• No action required

Account Naming Updates

For SRNYFCU Members
To improve consistency across our systems, certain account names have been updated:

• Primary Share → Savings
• Share Draft → Checking
• Share Certificate → Certificate
• Business Prime Share → Business Savings
• Business Share Draft → Business Checking

All other account names remain unchanged.
No action is required.

For UKRFCU Members
Most account names remain unchanged.

Notable Update:
• Classic Money Market → Money Market

This change does not affect your account features, access, or services.

Routing Numbers

For SRNYFCU Members
Your routing number remains unchanged:
226078379

No action is required.
Transactions may now display Self Reliance Financial as the institution name.

For UKRFCU Members
A new routing number has been introduced:

• New: 226078379
• Previous: 236084832

What to Expect:
• Your previous routing number will continue to be accepted for a transition period.
• We strongly encourage you to update to the new routing number as soon as possible.

Please update the routing number for:
• Direct deposits
• ACH payments
• External account transfers

Wire Transfers (All Members)
Effective July 1, 2026, all wire transfers follow Self Reliance Financial Federal Credit Union (SRFFCU) wire instructions.

You may continue to send and receive:
• Domestic wire transfers
• International wire transfers

Please visit SRFFCU.com for current wire instructions and additional details before initiating a transfer.

Checks & MICR Line

For All Members
Your checks contain a MICR line (numbers at the bottom) used to process payments.

SRNYFCU Members
• Your MICR account number will update to reflect your new account number
• The full MICR number remains 13 digits
• You may continue using your existing checks

When ordering new checks, use your updated account number

UKRFCU Members
• Your account number format does not change
• Your MICR line format remains the same
• You may continue using existing checks

When reordering checks, use the new routing number (226078379)

Understanding Your Check
Every check includes three key numbers:
• Routing Number: Identifies the credit union (9 digits)
• Account Number: Your unique account identifier
• Check Number: Identifies each individual check
